The Million Dollar Canvas is a conceptual artwork by Abdel Seoud, built from one hundred one-dollar bills, with one hundred spaces for brands.[1] Despite its name, the canvas contains $100.
Concept[edit]
According to the artist, "a dollar becomes more than a dollar", and the canvas turns ordinary currency into "a rare composition" through "participation, curation, exclusivity, and the power of story".[1]
Relation to the book[edit]
Both projects are unique objects with a price in the millions. Neither has sold.[citation needed]
