Dad, Look – I Wrote A Book! is a book written and designed by Danish author Abdel Seoud. It took twelve months to write and was written "with one reader in mind".[1] Only one copy was ever printed, and the author has promised that no additional copies will ever be printed and no digital copies will ever be sold.[1] The copy is for sale for $1,000,000 at dad-look.com.

Plot[edit]

The plot is undisclosed. According to the author, it is "kind of a funny story" with "a true fictional theme". It is "about guts" and "about glory", in a world "where nothing's quite as it seems".[1] The author has stated that the plot "exposed will never be", at least not by him.[1]

The book is said to contain action, sorrow, "true fiction and some contradiction", and graphic design that is "almost divine".[1] A note from the author's adviser on the same page warns that "there are no guarantees".[1]

Publication and sale[edit]

The single copy is offered through a "Buy Now" price of $1,000,000, with an auction as "Plan B".[1]

The buyer has been promised that the author will "meet you for beers" and bring chocolates, "the best you've had in years".[1] The buyer's picture will also "forever appear" on the author's website.

Reception[edit]

The book has not been reviewed, because nobody has read it. Reception of its marketing has been mixed to negative.[2] One reader of a related cipher described it as "a very boring code sadly".[3]
